Terms of service
1. Who we are
These terms apply to every offer, quote and order on rafwheels.com. The seller is A to Z Trading B.V., trading as RAF Wheels, De Roef 14 D, 9206 AK Drachten, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 68748310, VAT NL857574565B01, salesrafwheels@gmail.com, +31 512 729 008.
2. Prices
Prices for consumers are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout. Obvious errors in prices or product information do not bind us; in that case we will contact you before the order is processed and you may cancel at no cost.
3. In-stock orders
A contract for in-stock wheels is formed when you complete payment at checkout. You receive an order confirmation by email.
4. Made-to-order wheels
For made-to-order wheels we send you a personal quote based on the specification and vehicle details you provide. The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) and pay a deposit of 50%. Production starts after the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due before the wheels ship. Because made-to-order wheels are built to your specification, they cannot be cancelled or returned after the contract is formed, except in the case of a defect.
5. Payment
In-stock orders are paid in full at checkout using the payment methods shown. Made-to-order balances are paid by bank transfer or a payment link that we send you.
6. Delivery
We ship to the countries listed in our Shipping policy. In-stock wheels ship within 1 to 3 working days after payment. Made-to-order wheels take around 30 days to produce, plus transport from the factory to Drachten: about 7 days by air, about 6 weeks by truck or about 12 weeks by sea, depending on the method chosen in your quote. Any date we give is an estimate. If we expect a delay of more than 30 days beyond the date we confirmed, we will tell you and you may cancel and receive your payments back. Risk of loss passes to you when the wheels are delivered to you.
7. Fitment and use
- You are responsible for giving us correct vehicle details (make, model, year, and licence plate where possible). We check fitment based on those details before shipping or production.
- Wheels must be fitted by a professional, with suitable tyres, the correct hub rings and bolts or nuts, and tightened to the vehicle manufacturer's torque. Check the torque again after the first 50 to 100 km.
- Rules for using aftermarket wheels on the road differ by country (for example RDW in the Netherlands or TÜV in Germany). It is your responsibility to make sure the wheels are allowed on your vehicle where you drive it.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14 day right of withdrawal for in-stock wheels, as explained in our Refund policy. This right does not apply to made-to-order wheels or to business customers.
9. Warranty and liability
Wheels must be fit for normal use; your statutory rights always apply. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect fitting, wrong vehicle details provided by you, accidents, kerbing, modification or use on a track. Our liability is limited to the amount of the order, except in the case of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow such a limit.
10. Retention of title
Wheels remain our property until they have been paid for in full.
11. Complaints
Please send complaints to salesrafwheels@gmail.com with your order number. We reply within 5 working days and aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district of Noord-Nederland. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence and may also bring a claim before the courts there.
